The mission of the Granby Fire Department is dedicated to providing for the safety and welfare of the public through the preservation of life and property.

A Message From The Chief

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website. Our goal is to provide general information about the Granby Fire Department and all of its various activities. The Granby Fire Department is a department consisting of a combination of five career and thirty call force members delivering fire and emergency medical services to our community of 6,300. Built on strong tradition, we are dedicated to bringing state of the art services to our citizens through a commitment of training, safety, and modern equipment. None of this would be possible without the devotion of the men and women that make up our membership. This department, like many departments, was created by neighbors helping neighbors with protection and safety as their main priorities. While our training and equipment has become more involved, caring for and helping our neighbors is still the core value that motivates our members.
